Marketing Manager – Digital (1 year contract)

What You Will Do…

  • Responsible for developing Best Buy Canada’s digital marketing objectives, strategies and plans, across digital channels including display, mobile, and social media to drive traffic in-store and online
  • Ensure effective brand management of all online and social media communications to maintain brand consistency
  • Work with internal experts (in fields of digital media, search, analytics, remarketing and more) to drive the development of new digital marketing capabilities and make recommendations on how to improve or optimize digital marketing campaigns including audience-based, data-driven strategies and tactics, remarketing, DMP technologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop recommendations for growth category, special projects and vendor funded campaigns
  • Develop and execute social media strategies and tactics to increase reach, acquire and retain audience for brand channels
  • Test, learn & scale new digital technologies
  • Lead strategy and development of key digital campaigns, working closely with Media, Creative and Brand teams to execute and deliver digital marketing plans that are aligned with overall business objectives
  • Work with internal experts (analytics, media) to create and present reporting/analytics for digital marketing campaigns and demonstrate measurement of key online initiatives
  • Manage direct reports of digital marketing specialists
  • Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the area of digital marketing
  • Serve as a lead contributor in the development of business and marketing strategies leveraging insights from digital marketing
  • Advocate for the online customer and the brand in cross functional teams and projects

We’d Love To Hear From People With 3 – 5 Years of Experience In:

  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns for a mid to large size organization
  • Digital marketing across display, paid search, social, mobile and audience-based remarketing
  • Managerial experience (program management, budgeting, direct report)
  • Digital marketing, specifically in display advertising, paid search, social media and mobile
  • Audience-based remarketing, and data-driven marketing
  • B-to-C, retail and ecommerce experience preferred
  • Marketing channel and campaign analysis expertise
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver, self-starter, solution oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • Team player and works well with cross-functional teams

Your Educational Background…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
